Clipping paths are simple vector lines separating images from their background drawn with the help of Photoshop Pen Tool. Clipping Path is drawn to isolate the foreground object of an image by making the background transparent when it is placed in different application.
Let’s follow these techniques:
First, open your image in Adobe Photoshop where you wish to draw clipping path.
Second, on the Layers palette, select the Paths tab followed by Shape 1 selection of Vector Mask path. Save the new path as "Path 1".
Third, select Clipping Path from the upper right button.
Fourth, you have to set a flatness value which will determine the closeness of the path conforms to the curves. A closeness of a path is inversely proportional to the curves. In the dialog, give a defined value to the chosen path layer and click "OK"
Fifth, use keyboard short cut key CTRL and consecutively select the path layer with the mouse and delete the image background.
Sixth, use your own defined background to place it or fill a desired background to your image.
Clipping Path is finally FINISHED!
